RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

DOORWAYS, a nationally recognized non-profit housing organization, seeks a program assistant to provide administrative support to the residential program manager.  This is a part-time M-F position at 20 hours per week.

Job duties include conducting client intake, maintaining the waiting list, completing recertifications and properly updating files and records.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Two years’ administrative/clerical experience working in a business office environment.
  • High School Diploma (some college preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail, customer service and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple assignments at once with little supervision.
  • Desire to work with clients of various socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

DOORWAYS, a non-profit Interfaith AIDS housing organization, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities include leadership and hands-on delivery of accounting functions, as well as oversight of HR and IT. A successful candidate will evaluate, integrate and manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, including:

Human resources

  • Payroll
  • Benefits administration
  • Personnel records
  • Implementation of personnel policies

Finance Accounting

  • Budgeting
  • Grants management
  • Insurance management
  • Tax filing (990, 5500, 1099)

Information technologies

  • Computer network administration
  • Office asset management (computers, office machinery, etc.)

Staffing of Finance Committee with the Board of Directors

Master’s in accounting or business administration and a CPA with experience in non-profit fund accounting preferred, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fund accounting software.
